The owner of Firefox, the world’s second most popular browser, is backing an add-on which would allow users to monitor in real-time how their actions are tracked and shared by various websites as they surf the net.

The Collusion tool currently in development visualizes the flow of information as a meshwork of bubbles representing different websites. It tracks the sites which the user visits and also shows their known partners – ad companies, behavior profilers and other third parties. As surfing continues, a pattern emerges revealing that different popular sites are linked to the same data collectors, which are building up their knowledge on the user’s habits and preferences.

Collusion is an experimental add-on for Firefox and allows you to see all the third parties that are tracking your movements across the Web. It will show, in real time, how that data creates a spider-web of interaction between companies and other trackers.

The ultimate goal of those companies is to identify what kind of advertising would ring a bell with each user, and then to target them accordingly.

For instance, Google’s controversial new privacy policy aims to share info on users of its various services to build more accurate advertising profiles. The policy came into effect on Thursday amid a chorus of objections from activists and officials that it violates privacy and may be illegal in some jurisdictions. Another example is Facebook, which learns about every visit to a page which has its “Like” button on it.

The amount of data collected by Google, Facebook and other players less-known to the general public is astounding. But the majority of Internet users are oblivious to this fact. Mozilla’s new add-on – called Collusion – aims to change that.

“Collusion will allow us to pull back the curtain and provide users with more information about the growing role of third parties, how data drives most Web experiences, and ultimately how little control we have over that experience and our loss of data,” says Mozilla CEO Gary Kovacs in his blog.

Mozilla wants the users of Collusion to submit anonymized data on their surfing habits to build up a database on who tracks them and how it is done. It is intended for researchers, journalists and privacy activists who would monitor data-tracking practices and find possible abuse.

The full version of Collusion will also work together with other tools like TrackerBlock to allow users to selectively hide from some trackers while allowing others to track them.

Writing great content is the key to having your website/blog stand out and attract readers. Content is key – without it, your website is just a template. So many bloggers and webmasters try to get away with writing sub-par content.

This content might be hastily written ramblings stuffed with keywords just to provide some kind of meat to a website and make it attractive to the search engines. Often, software is used to “spin” existing content to make it unique. Usually these articles are confusing and unreadable to an actual human visitor.

Many people try to outsource their content as cheap as possible to writers in India – while this works okay in some cases, most of time you get what you pay for. These kinds of writers do not always know proper English, and as a result their articles are full of spelling and grammatical errors.

If your website/blog exists solely for backlink juice, this might be all right (for now!). But if your goal is to attract and engage an active readership you must be willing to put in the time and effort to produce great, interesting content.

Here are some basic tips and tricks for doing just that!

Find out the hot topics and talk about them. Try to find an ‘angle’ that other writers have not covered and be the first to provide information / opinions on it.

Be controversial. Voice an opinion that arouses intrigue and fiery debate. Ask provocative questions and encourage your readers to comment their thoughts and opinions. For example: “Marketers who promote CPA are just glorified spammers! Can CPA and ‘ethics’ be mentioned in the same sentence?” You’ll find that you’ll get a lot of responses and your post may even be featured on forums or other areas where you’ll get tons of traffic.

Always provide many line breaks in your writing. This will make your blog post easily digestible. Huge blocks of text are difficult to read and readers will have the natural inclination to overlook the content and click off the page to find something easier to read.

Content doesn’t always have be in written format. Spice up your blog with occasional photographs, videos, and podcasts.

Read lots of blogs in both your niche and others. Find out what makes the popular blogs so interesting and fun to read, and apply your findings to your own blog.

Don’t be self-conscious about your writing! So many people have extremely low confidence in their own ability to write. Don’t even think about it. Sure, you might not be the next Shakespeare, but if you write from the heart and genuinely commit to providing your readers with useful information, you’ll do a great job.

That’s it for now. Start using these tips today to provide great content and attract tons of readers!

Google AdWords is an ad serving platform that rates your ads and campaigns using a branded algorithm. Below are several AdWords tips to avoid a penalty when your ads are manually reviewed.

Offensive Language
Regardless of the form of advertising your business uses, you always require to capture attention. You wish to stand out, draw interest and be remembered. It isn’t surprising that several advertisers will try to use a shock factor by inserting offensive language into an ad to draw interest.
The Google algorithm might not understand the nuances or hidden meanings of some words, but offensive language is easily identified and flagged with a penalty in a manual review.

Copyright And Trademark Restrictions
Google has been flooded with lawsuits in recent years because of advertisers using trademarks or copyrighted terms in their advertisements without permission. There are strict guidelines in place, and you’ll receive a warning at the ad creation level if your ad contains a copyrighted trademark.

Special Offers
If your ad expresses a “special offer” you require to take the customer directly to that offer. It will pass the algorithm test most of the time, but a manual review will expect you to deliver on the promise your ad makes. If you advertise a special discount, your landing page requires to prominently display that discount.

Display URL
Google’s primary concern is the search user. When they click on your ad they expect to land on the displayed URL. In past years, advertisers have taken advantage of the AdWords platform by “redirecting” browsers to a different URL. They’d show the search user one URL, then take them to a different website after the ad has been clicked.
To curb the abuse, and ensure a quality experience for search users Google now needs the display URL to precisely reflect the end destination URL. If you tell a search user you’re taking them to a specific domain, that’s where you’ve to take them.

Your website, like a beautifully decorated, but unattended reception? People come, look around and leave without anyone ever knowing they were there? Such a waste. Window shoppers, who do not enter do not buy any intention of returning later is actually a very unlikely event. Is paid search engine optimization to get good search results and pay per click to get visitors to your website, what a waste! All the hard work and the receptionist was out to lunch. You do not tolerate in your office is left unattended then why is it okay for your site?

If you are like most businesses, perhaps 5% of the studies, business, visitors will come to your office, while an average of 85% should come to the site. Accordingly, the calculation is 95 times greater than the probability that under appropriate supervision, only 5% of business studies. It ignores the 85% of the company visits and let the Chase for the information and attention. An error occurred. What can be done, what will you do?

It is important to check out the page people will see first. Most of the company, which is the site, in most cases it is probably on the wrong side. Smart companies ensure that the visitors received a focused entirely appropriate side depending on how it was decided to locate the site. These so-called ‘landing pages’. Good pay per click advertising delivers the respondents to another according to the subject of the ad landing page so that visitors always receives the correct content. Reply by e-mail advertising, e.newsletters, at each point of the article links to a page, and only rarely in the home. Grab your visitors‘ attention to 4 seconds, or will be added to the competitor. So do not risk bringing them to a general page, an empty desk, 95% of the visitors just go away.

Got your attention, what next. Wants to know who they are. If they are first time visitors, the easiest way to get the most visitors, to say that it is desirable to offer them something that is free, usually a booklet or manual that can be downloaded, and sometimes something to post, or a future benefit as a ticket or voucher. Visitors can learn the material free of charge in exchange for their names and contact details of a ‘squeeze page‘. Now I know who they are and what they want to monitor it, and not just wait and hope that they might contact me. The truth is, most will not. Returning visitors will be encouraged to log in and submit themselves to the most return visitors to automatically log in, if you use the same computer as they are registered.

May be more than just welcoming the written word, the flash clip is a short podcast on your site loads very quickly. Within that 4 second window of opportunity to be able to talk to the visitor’s attention. ‘Welcome to our site. My name is Tim Meadows-Smith and I am the Executive Director. I hope you find what you want, if you do not Here’s the number I OFFICE WHERE we are ready to help – 0123 456789. Your voice will tell them, that means that it is useful and can be trusted. You may not call, but wanted to, and will feel that you care.

The video podcast can be inset in the same page. A good idea is to use a podcast to announce the availability chat help. Operational, type a message like ‘you can look around, if something is unclear or if you need help, please just write me a message.’ This conversation can make the visitor’s attention, perhaps some of the current offer.

To encourage users to re-new ones constantly interesting material on your site. The blog feature makes it very easy, and allow users to feedback. You can even allow visitors to subscribe and get alerted to new information on the blog.

Before you leave, and I think it’s too complicated, remember, is the dominant method of research of new products and services, needs and wishes now by looking online. Do not expect to retain its rivals yiour. You must continue to communicate online with customers, and survive.

If you have been wondering about how to be successful by starting a website that is related to health, you are at the right place. Health is a very popular subject. You can measure its popularity by searching with the term “health” in Google. Can you even guess the number of websites that come up on this search criterion?

It is a whopping 83,100,000+ (Global Searches) If you see this number, you will surely think “How are so many people making money out of websites associated with health?” That question is interesting as well as easy to answer.

Let me ask you a few questions.

How many subjects can you relate to health? You may say 10…..20…..50? It is a lot more than that. People have a variety of preferences while reading on the subjects related to health.

Given that you have hundreds of categories related to health, you can imagine the number of people who are interested in the subjects. Some readers may find vitamin information and alternative medicine interesting, while some others may find surgery and surgical procedures interesting.

You must be wondering: “How do I make my visitors come back to my Website?”; “How do I retain my audience?” or “How do I establish myself as an authority on the web?”

The answer is simple: CONTENT.

The more original and unique content you have, the more visitors you will have on your website.

You cannot target the whole community of people who are interested in health. Its not possible to start with. You can aim to cater to all the needs of the health enthusiast, but not to start with. Attempting to be everything for everyone will lead to a complete failure. You must start with a focus. If you are targeting disease, you must establish your site as an authority on diseases. Disease is also not a very small subject matter and many websites are dedicated to disease. You can refer to www.cdc.gov/travel/diseases.htm for a list of known diseases.

Now when you have set your subject, you must target your audience.
Your target audience can be Medical professionals such as doctors, pathologists, nurses and other people of the medical fraternity.

OR

General public and health enthusiasts

When you are dealing with educated people like Doctors and medical professionals, you need not explain simple medical terms to them. (It will sound as if you are teaching an English graduate, how to write sentences.). The matter that you put up shall be rich in medical terminologies and research matter.

On the other hand, if you are dealing with health enthusiasts, you will have to be simple in your approach in explaining medical conditions.

It looks all good till now, but whenever you are hunting for content, you will have problems.

Well, that is what we are here for CONTENT.

To know all about how content can be good for your website, click here.

If you are interested to know more about how to earn more using content, you can visit the link and know more.

Your quest for content is a never-ending one. You will have to update your content regularly to make your visitors come back to you. You will find many websites that do not have a lot of updated content. Once a visitor reads the content, he never comes back. The reason is simple- No updates. People who update their content regularly are rewarded.

Having updated content is not the whole story. You will also need to tell your visitors that you are having updated content on your website. For this, you may have to send emails to your visitors telling them about the updated content.

Another very important thing, that makes a health related website successful, is the ability to place comments and additional matter on the subject of the content.

People love to express their opinion on topics they love. Good websites have a place where the visitor can place comments and additional matter. You can call it a scratch book or a visitor’s book.

If you have all these features, then your website is ready. The next issue is how to reach people you do not know. Most people come into a website via some search engines or from some other source. Search Engines are the most dependable way to get in free traffic. Your webpage may have great matter, but the pages may not be optimized. As a result, you will lose a lot of valuable traffic. The content you have must be optimized for the Search Engines. Search Engines index your webpage based on the keywords you have. If the content is on Cancer, and you have mentioned cancer only once or twice, it will not help. You must use the theme keyword naturally and use variants so that Search Engines may index you based on those keywords.

This does not mean that you just go on with stuffing cancer in every sentence. That will be taken as an illicit technique and you will run the risk of being blacklisted. Make your content good, palatable to your audience and palatable to the search engines as well.

Your website has good content, but you are not getting many visitors.

Many people face this problem. If you want to get rid of this problem, you can Sign up here and know more about how to get visitors and much more.

It is not very easy to get the type of content you want. You may have to search for a long time to get your desired content.

Now if you think that the superfluous content is a waste, then you are wrong. That content can also be useful in many ways. Learn more …

If you are having problems in getting quality content for your website, you need not go any further. We can give you the best and the cheapest content that is pertaining to your website.
